Pair of Hester Bateman Silver Spoons

A beautiful pair of solid silver spoons made by the world renowned 18th century female silversmith Hester Bateman.

They are delicately decorated, with it’s bright cut pattern, catching and reflecting the light. Which would have been a real boon in the candle lit dining tables in the 18th century.

They are both clearly marked for Hester Bateman, with a date letter for 1785, which was shortly before she retired.
